Presenting at (ISC)2 Security Congress 2022

I’m delighted to share that I’ll be presenting at the ISC2 Security Congress. After the last year’s session was converted to virtual, I’m looking forward to joining the event in-person! The event will take place October 10 – 12 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

My session is on Monday, October 10, at 14:30. If you are attending the conference, you can also catch me at the EPAM booth in the exhibition area to discuss all things cloud security. See you there!

Top Public Cloud Security Fails and How to Avoid Them

The most common cause for a cloud data breach is a misconfigured cloud service. Based on hands-on experiences from many cloud application development projects, Karl has compiled a list of top security pitfalls that are common across all application types and team sizes. In this session, he will share what these security pitfalls are, why do they matter and how to mitigate them.

Learning Objectives

  • Know the most common threat vectors in real-life cloud applications across all industries and company sizes.

  • Effectively articulate the presented risks to both developers and decision-makers.

  • Remediate the presented risks and focus their security investments in the most effective controls.
